This series of works is based on my memories of my seven years living in New York City.
These are aerial views of the city, the places and paths that are meaningful to me.
I combine acrylic paint in a patchworked, intricate pattern along with woven wires, thread and metal.
The canvas is often cut through and woven together with the wires.
