Illustrated Self-Portraits
Students created self-portraits using digital photographs taken in class. Consideration of
colors schemes and composition were necessary for final designs along with the idea of
creating a series such as a diptych or tripych
. In Adbobe Illustrator students learned to
use the pencil tool, enhanced their knowledge of the pen tool, and utilized their newfound
knowledge of layers and organizing layers.
