Classic Still Life Drawing
Students used charcoal pencils on rough paper to create a still life drawing.
The focus of this lesson was learning to draw what you really see versus what
you think you see. This lesson was preceeded with a variety of exercises to
sharpen the sense of visual perception and hand-eye coordination. In
addition, students learned about proportions, contour, shading, pencil
softness, light source, value, etc.
